The Edge Of The World

Where land ends and sky begins, a too-curious child tests the boundaries her community has drawn—and discovers what lies beyond the red line.

Summary

In a green country at the edge of the world, where time is marked by sunshine and cloud rather than day and night, children learn early to respect the red line. Beyond it lies the brink—where land drops into endless void. But one child, born "one of those" who cannot help but question and explore, is drawn to the boundary despite her family's vigilance. When she crosses the line, she discovers both danger and an unexpected guardian in the ancient outlaw tree that grows at the very edge.
